Description

Available only for multi-protocol DXi4800 systems. Provides two 16Gb Fibre Channel ports. Two adapters are included with newly purchased multi-protocol systems. Systems upgraded to multi-protocol may have one or more adapters depending on configuration. Additional full height adapters may be added for a maximum four full height adapters (mix with 10GbE Optical, 10GbE Twinax, 10GBASE-T, 25GbE optical, 25GbE DAC, or FC) per system. Compatible with 16Gb/8Gb/4Gb Fibre Channel environments. Includes two 20ft (6.1m) 16Gb/8Gb/4Gb compatible Fibre Channel cables with LC connectors. Customer installable. Will be installed at no additional charge during system or physical capacity installation. Optional onsite (SDY48-NSYS-000x) or phone-based (SDY48-NSYS-PB00) installation available when only an adapter is being installed.
