QXS-312/412/512 12G Expansion Node 2U. 1×12 pack drives is required at time of initial order. Ships fully populated with the drive type and quantity (max 12) selected. Includes dual 12G SAS IOMs in a 2U chassis. Each IOM has two 12G SAS ports for expansion. High availability features include redundant hot-swappable IOMs and redundant hot-swappable power supplies. QXS 3xx/4xx/5xx 12G may be expanded by adding up to a total of nine x12 12G and/or x24 12G expansions, OR up to three x84 12G expansions (x12/x24 12G expansions cannot be mixed with x84 12G expansions) for a maximum of 216 drives (using nine 524 12G expansions) or 252 drives (using three 584 12G expansions). Includes 19-inch rack mount kit. May be customer installed or professionally installed onsite via Quantum Professional Services (SQXXX-NEXK-000x).
