Description

Subscription license – requires periodic renewal per the sales and license terms. At least one StorNext 7 Scale-Out Data Services Node is required to act as the MDC which can be purchased separately or may be included with a StorNext Xcellis or H4000 appliance. Two Scale-Out Data Services Node licenses are required for an HA MDC, one for each node. One StorNext Scale-Out node license is required for each hardware and/or software only node that provides StorNext file services that can be utilized for a 1 year period. StorNext file services are defined as Active MDC, Passive MDC, NAS, Distributed LAN Server, Distributed Data Mover, FlexSync Data Mover, or File System Pools Data Mover. For use with StorNext Xcellis appliances, H4000, or software only nodes running StorNext 7 or greater. Consult the StorNext Compatibility Guide for the list of supported products and configurations. May be used with other StorNext software subscription licenses. Silver (5x9TS) Software Support software maintenance is included as part of this license. Xcellis appliances and H4000 systems with Bronze level support require Silver software support, Xcellis appliances and H4000 systems with NBD Gold or Gold level support require Gold software support. All software subscriptions must be at the same level of support.
